I was active and competitive in sports without issues until the end of high school. I had years of unexplained hip pain before being diagnosed with hip dysplasia at 22. I found Dr. Sink's name through a patient group online and met with him 1.5 years later. He performed my PAOs in May and November 2018. Unfortunately, I had some unexpected complications, which made my recovery longer and more difficult than the average one. It was extremely challenging but gave me a quality of life back. Over 3 years later, I am active and competitive again, in a full time degree program and working. Despite how long and hard the process was, I have no regrets.
