I would like to extend my deepest gratitude to these two amazing physicians. As an HSS employee, I already knew just by working side by side with them that there is no one else's hands I rather be in. Dr. Buly and Dr. Kelly dedicated 4 years of their time, knowledge, compassion, and expertise to me and my journey. I developed such an appreciation and love for my doctors because of the care and support they have shown me.

I was born with severe hip dysplasia - one femur was anteverted (a condition where the femur twists inward) and one femur was retroverted (a condition where the femur twists outward). The procedure that I had with Dr. Buly was extremely invasive and hard to recover from. Essentially both my femurs were broken and rotated, a rod was hammered through the bone and pins were put in place to set the new anatomy of my femur and hip.

With my femurs being anatomically incorrect, I had torn my labrums and was unsure why I was having sharp pain in my groin from time to time. Dr. Kelly did a combined surgery with Dr. Buly when my hardware was being removed a year after the osteotomies. These phenomenal individuals gave me my life back. I will not need a hip replacement by the time I am 40, I have full rotation of my hips and can squat, run, walk, and sit pain-free!

2022-2025 were the years my doctors spent with me. I love them, cherish them and honor them!
