Getting Back in the Game After Bilateral Hip Surgery at 38:

In December 2023, I underwent bilateral hip arthroscopy with osteoplasty and labral repair at HSS with Dr. Coleman to address long-standing hip impingement that had limited my movement and performance for years.

Despite being 38 at the time, I felt confident in Dr. Coleman and his team from the very beginning. Their expertise and encouragement gave me the belief that I could return to playing competitive soccer.

Recovery wasn’t linear and it had its challenges, as my body had to relearn how to move without the restrictions and compensations I’d developed over time. But with each month, I felt stronger. I returned to playing soccer just six months after surgery, and within a year, I felt better on the field than I had in over a decade.

Choosing HSS and Dr. Coleman was the best decision I could’ve made. This experience gave me more than just pain relief, it gave me back my passion.
