As an orthopedic nurse practitioner, I know how hard it can be to create a “stress-free” experience for patients undergoing surgery. Dr. Demetracopoulos, Lowsant and every other person I encountered during my stay at HSS did just that. Dr. Demetracopoulos has given me my life back as I went from hardly being able to walk with a crutch to now walking the trails with my search and rescue dogs independently following my ankle replacement.
