After 10 years of pain and inability to walk without stopping frequently I was referred to HSS for evaluation. The result was total ankle replacement (TAR) surgery, which was recommended for both ankles. The surgeries were 6 months apart and the treatment and care provided by Dr. Cody, HSS, and Stamford Hospital were beyond fantastic. Follow-up has been thorough and ongoing. I'm walking again!
