I’m a golfer with bone-on-bone arthritis in my right ankle. I tried braces and cortisone but nothing worked. It got so bad that I gave up playing golf. I went to three doctors - the first two wanted to do a fusion. Friends recommended HSS Stamford and Dr. Elizabeth Cody and I’m thankful they did. Dr. Cody reviewed my options as well as the pros and cons to both an ankle fusion and ankle replacement surgery. We decided that an ankle replacement was best for me. Dr. Cody explained surgery and what to expect post-surgery. Everything she said came true. I’m back playing golf and gardening without pain. I recommend HSS and especially Dr. Cody for ankle replacement surgery.
