I suffered with ankle arthritis for 10+ years. After seeing several doctors I felt like there was no hope for me. My pain became unbearable and my physical therapist suggested I go and see Dr. Demetracopoulos. Best decision ever!

From my first appointment with Dr. D., I knew that I was in good hands. My case was complicated but he was confident that he would be able to do ankle replacement surgery. The surgery went amazingly well and my recovery was fantastic.

I am 20 months post-op and I have my life back. I don't know where I would be if it wasn't for him and the amazing team at HSS.

Every morning when I put my feet in my slippers and I stand up I am grateful for that opportunity to walk and live normally, which I would never have had otherwise.
