I had multiple ankle surgeries over the years from a shattered tibia and fibula. During September 2019, my ankle was at the point I could not walk 25 yards from the parking lot of my office to the office without being in excruciating pain. I had to cancel vacation plans during that time because of the issue. Dr. Demetracopoulos performed total ankle replacement surgery on 2/14/2020. Now I am able to hike domes in Yosemite and Mountains in Canadian Rockies, ski, mountain bike, road bike, and swim without any issues.
