I tore my left biceps tendon in a fall and was referred to Dr Kew. She knew within a few minutes what was damaged and an MRI confirmed it. As it was a time-sensitive situation, she scheduled me for surgery and a few days later I was operated on and recovering. In the six months since my injury, I’ve had several appointments with her, all of which she and her team provided excellent care and guidance for my full recovery. I also had a very good experience with Dr. Save, who preformed carpal tunnel surgery several months later to address tingling and hand strength.

Through my recovery I received excellent physical therapy with Kelsey Hatter and others at the HSS Hand and Upper Extremity Therapy Center. I’m now back to my normal activities including hiking, travel, and photography.

I feel very fortunate to have had everyone at HSS involved in surgeries and physical therapy. They are a highly skilled and compassionate team!
