I partially tore my biceps tendon in June 2020 and thought it a simple muscle pull. I spent a year in pain trying all sorts of treatments. After receiving MRI results, I needed to seek the best orthopedic surgeon. After all, it's my dominant hand and I love to paddle and do Pilates. I needed my arm back to do the things I love. Dr. Samir Trehan's office staff understood completely and were able to accommodate my schedule numerous times since I had to travel from Florida to New York to get the care I needed. In less than 9 months I started competing in Dragon Boat Racing, something that requires a lot of upper body strength, especially arms, I have not only been able to compete but have participated in assisting my team to win a gold medal. This would not have been possible without the repair of my bicep tendon. I can't thank the team enough for their positivity, professionalism and extreme skills!
