In December of 2023 I fell on a hike. After 6 weeks of physical therapy an MRI confirmed a complete tear of my notator cuff and a torn bicep tendon. Surgery to repair the injury was the only option for me to get back to my regular physical activities that I enjoy. I had heard from friends that HSS would be my best option to help me have a successful recovery. Lucky for me I found Dr. Michael Fu, and I scheduled the surgery for May of 2024. After my surgery I was extremely fortunate to have Joesph Capogrosso, DPT, to help with my rehabilitation after surgery. Dr. Fu and Joseph Capogrosso’s expertise, methodical approach, compassion and commitment has led me to a full and complete recovery. I am back to doing everything I love with strength, flexibility, and complete use of my right arm and shoulder. I just got back to the gym to do circuit training, and hiking with my dog every weekend. I’m stronger than ever! I could not be more grateful.
