When I tore my ACL, MCL, and meniscus playing Rugby in September of 2025, the prospect of having a complex knee surgery which included the removal of half of my meniscus was an extremely stressful experience, and one that made me worried my knee may never return to normal. However, thanks to Dr. MacGillivray's confidence and skill, I'm back playing all the sports I used to love only 10 months post-surgery. Also, I'm even strong enough to hike up and down Mt. Washington pain-free, an activity that is notoriously rough on the knees.
