I found myself at the orthopedist's office in 2018 after a knee injury that never quite fully healed. The first orthopedist suggested I had an 80% tear in my ACL. I saw Dr. Gregory DiFelice for a second opinion, who said it wasn't torn, and recommended physical therapy. A lot of PT later, I returned to all my activities without surgery! In the 8 years since, I haven't had further knee issues, and have instead chased my dreams. I ran a mountainous trail marathon (5,500' of vert) and the TCS NYC Marathon, skied all kinds of crazy terrain, and still play soccer most weekends!
