In 2018, I had a very serious compound fracture of my left ankle. Following weeks of Dr. Deland’s intricate surgeries and months of treatment and care, I finally saw the light at the end of the tunnel. In the early days, the risk of infection and possible amputation were difficult days. Dr. Deland steered me through those times with professionalism and kindness. Today I live a full life with work (I am a Hospice RN), travel, and hiking.
