Playing soccer growing up, one game I suddenly fell as my knee popped out of place. Following that game I continued to suffer pain from the injury, but no one could seem to figure out what the issue was. I kept playing sports for years through the pain until it eventually started to affect my athletic performance. I started physical therapy and they eventually told me to see Dr. Green at HSS. He was able to see the issues with the ligaments in my knee and recommended surgery to repair it. After surgery my life changed for the better, and I was able to see such a difference in so many aspects of my life. It was a hard recovery process but through the help of therapists and Dr. Green I was able to find the results that I needed. I am now committed to SUNY Cortland for swimming, and I am so grateful for all the help I have received from HSS. Thank you Dr. Green and HSS for helping me discover my injury and providing me the tools I needed to succeed.
