Over ten years ago, Dr. Anil Ranawat did a right medial meniscectomy on my right knee. He told me he thought there was an abnormality with the tissue he observed in my knee and referred me to Dr. Arthur Yee, a rheumatologist at HSS.

I cannot write enough positive things about Dr. Yee. He has helped me deal with rheumatoid arthritis, an inflamed liver, sarcoidosis, breast cancer, and neurogenic nerve entrapment. When he felt he would not be the best person to treat me, he would refer me on. He has always made the best referral, guaranteeing the best treatment for me. Recently, Dr. Sravisht Iyer operated on me for a neurogenic claudication condition of my spine. I am walking well now without the intense pain I had. Dr. Yee has been with me through that also. This letter is to recognize Drs. Ranawat and Iyer for their fine surgical care but it is also to recognize Dr. Yee for having always been there for me and caring for my rheumatological and inflammatory-related conditions in the best way possible. Dr. Yee has kept me in the game!
