Lauren Hickey

I tore my ACL the summer of 2022 in my junior year in a soccer game when I went to cross the ball across the field. I met Dr. Gregory DiFelice through a friend of mine who tore her ACL prior to my injury; I am so thankful for her recommendation! Dr. DiFelice was able to repair part of my ACL then used a graft to repair the rest. I’m now 17 months post-operation and playing better than ever. The hospital staff was so kind and gentle with me the day of my operation. They were very patient with me and very helpful with my little needs during my stay at the hospital. This tear has taught me to work even harder and if it wasn’t for Dr. DiFelice’s work, I don’t know where I’d be. This upcoming year, I plan to play at Molloy University for their women’s soccer team and I couldn’t have gotten here without Dr. DiFelice!
