When I was admitted to HSS, there were a lot of unknowns. But in the morning I was informed that my ACL reconstruction that was previously done outside of HSS had gotten infected. Dr. Kelly went into surgery that morning and was able to get rid of the infection completely. Throughout these scary times Dr. Kelly and Dr. Robilotti reassured me constantly and I felt like I was in the best hands possible. Not only were the surgeons amazing and MDs but everyone from the nurses and other support staff made me feel like I was right at home during my extensive hospital stay. I would later be transferred to Dr. Rodeo and after a few surgeries to repair the damage of the infection he was able to successfully to reconstruct my ACL. He was constantly there for me after every setback and complication and I am eternally grateful to everyone at HSS for getting me healthy again!
