Burton Rocks

I came to HSS through my parents, Marlene and Dr. Lawrence Rocks. Dr. Athanasian, Dr. Pearle, and Dr. Altchek understood my childhood code blue asthma history, and not being able to have traditional anesthesia. Their nerve block techniques were state of the art and I underwent lipoma surgery in 2010 (Dr. Athanasian), ACL reconstruction surgery (Dr. Pearle; tore it playing in a squash tournament) in 2014, and blood clot/aneurysm surgery in 2021 (Dr. Athanasian). The HSS team literally got me Back in the Game, and my childhood dream of being honored by Topps baseball cards with my own official baseball trading card was realized in 2018, 2020, and 2021. My foursome won the inaugural HSS Golf Florida tournament at PGA National Resort Champions Course in March 2022! Their team of physicians are life savers!
