I was in pain for years and my right hip was not getting any better with all that I tried. Because of the pain and discomfort my life was becoming more and more difficult. My work and my hobbies, my sleep and recovery, my life as I knew was taxed by the ongoing pain.

On March 6th, 2022 will be two years since I had my right hip resurfaced. Since I ran over 30 virtual races, two half marathons, two marathons, and did two triathlons. I am planning to race in at least 10 road races this year as well as run the NYC Marathon in November.

I am sure non of the above would happen if I did not have a surgery. I am very thankful to my surgeon, Alexander McLawhorn, MD. I will do all I can to keep his name known and keep him proud of his masterful work.
