After many years of contemplative treatment through surgery, I had reached a point where quality of life was more important to my family than my fear of the outcomes. My sister, being a resident employee who works in recovery, assured me that it was also the hospital of choice. Hence, I threw aside my apprehensions and committed to ensuring a better life for all around me and a better active lifestyle. I entered into surgery on 6/2 at 9AM with Dr. Alexander McLawhorn for hip resurfacing surgery and woke up in recovery around 1PM to begin a new and exciting chapter of my life. Kudos to all my caretakers for making this a stress-free and routine procedure. Thank You from the bottom of my heart.
