In 2024 and 2025, I had my left knee and my right knee surgically replaced by Dr. Alberto Carli. I had severe arthritis and bone-on-bone in both knees. It had become incredibly painful to walk, to the extent that every step I took was painful.
Dr. Carli replaced my left knee first. This surgery went so well that I was now able to walk with zero pain in my left knee. As a result, I had to do the right knee, which I did early in 2025. It too was a complete success and now I walk with no pain at all.
Dr. Carli, his staff and the staff at HSS could not have been more professional, considerate or knowledgeable in the entire knee replacement process. Dr. Carli is a wonderful surgeon, Who has literally given me my life back.
