It all started on October 8th, 2017 at a GYMRATZ basketball tournament, playing point guard. The first 38 seconds of the game took a major toll on my sports career. I jumped up for a rebound, pivoted the wrong way, and sadly tore my ACL. Unable to walk, I was rushed to the ER. At the hospital, they took many images of my left knee and told me I had a dislocated kneecap. My family and I decided to visit an orthopedic specialist. After being misdiagnosed, we wanted the best of the best. That’s when we found HSS.

Hospital for Special Surgery changed my life for the better. My experience with the staff and doctors has been top notch. From laughs with the nurse all the way to a full recovery has left me with nothing but smiles. Dr. Peter Fabricant is by far the best doctor any patient can ever wish for. Not one time did I feel that I was alone during my long recovery process. He always pushed me to do my best, and I truly am grateful for everything that he has done. Your quality and integrity as a surgeon and, more fundamentally, as a person shine through. You Da Bomb!
