My left hip pain spanned 3 orthopedists and 2 rounds of physical therapy before we were at HSS with Dr. Sink, Dr. Nawabi and Katrina Dela Torre, Nurse Clinician. The evaluation was extensive. Dr. Sink is amazing, kind and listened to everything. Ultimately, the answer was to have a periacetabular osteotomy by Dr. Sink and a labral tear repair by Dr. Nawabi. Both doctors took the time to make sure I understood and answered every question. Katrina was nothing less than incredible. During the hospitalization, the OR staff and peds staff made my family and I feel very secure and well cared for. Dr. Stephanie Perlman and staff are so committed to giving phenomenal medical care and emotional support. I was lucky to have Rosa as my patient care assistant. She has a huge place in our hearts. Seventeen months later, I am pain free, running, snowboarding and so grateful to Dr. Sink, Katrina and all at HSS.
