Eight years ago I found myself having pain when I was exercising and walking on my left side. I saw a bunch of doctors in NJ, but none of them really diagnosed my problem of having hip dysplasia. Then I decided to go to HSS because my father (in his mid 40s) had hip replacement surgery there. After researching doctors, I found Dr. Mayman. His expertise and knowledge, along with the ability to answer all my questions, made me decide to have hip replacement surgery. Fast forward to 2023, my right hip started bothering me after a year and I knew to return back to Dr. Mayman to replace my other side. Five months later, I was able to walk and hike 70 miles on my two week trip to Montana. I am thankful for Dr. Mayman for giving me my life back so I can be active and travel with my children.
