I went through 2 other orthopedists before I found Dr. MacGillivray. He accurately diagnosed my problem after reviewing the MRI, explained the alternatives and provided an assessment of the post surgical condition of my knee. He was thorough with a pleasant demeanor. My experience with HSS was a 10 out of 10! Not one person (clinicians, staff and volunteers) had a poor attitude. Care was excellent. It took some time to recover but with Dr. MacGillvray, a great physical therapist and my determination my repaired knee is better than the uninjured one! I thank God on a regular basis for Dr. MacGillvray and the team at HSS. I am back to tall ship sailing, bike riding, taking care of my family and being an active participant in the outdoor activities of my girl scout troop and a hobby farm!
