I had torn my ACL a long time ago. I had gone from hospital to hospital contemplating surgery, but always thought the pain of the injury was better than a possible complication from surgery.

That is until I stumbled unto Dr. Nawabi at Hospital for Special Surgery. He explained the procedure to me step by step, told me the negatives of aging with my injury and assured me that everything was going to be alright. I finally had my surgery in October of 2015.

Now, 6 months after the surgery I feel great. I had no pain pain in my knee afterwards, and now my knee feels very strong, and stable. Dr. Nawabi was very professional and caring. I have no regrets regarding my surgery, and would recommend Dr. Nawabi to anyone who asks. My knee feels even better now than before the injury ever happened, and that's all thanks to Dr. Nawabi and the staff at HSS.
