I lost my leg below the knee due to an accident 4 years ago. Since then it’s been difficult making a prosthetic socket that would fit properly. I was advised by my surgeon at UCLA to look into osseointegration. I found HSS and Dr. S. Robert Rozbruch online. I immediately emailed Dr. Rozbruch to see if he would consult on my case. He wrote back quickly and after meeting him and his team I knew this is what I needed to do. I was so impressed by Dr. Rozbruch’s input and how experienced he is in limb lengthening. There is a reason HSS is ranked #1 in orthopedics and it shows the minute you enter the hospital.

This morning I had my procedure. I couldn’t be more happy. I’m going to be able to do EVERYTHING I did prior to my amputation. It’s absolutely incredible and I’m grateful to everyone who helped me get to this point.
