Hip Revision (Revision Total Hip Replacement)

I originally had an anterior left hip replacement in 2014 after having a slipped epiphysis as a child. I developed arthritis and was unable to enjoy life. After a couple of years I began to have dislocations. I had 2 and then a revision. Only 3 months passed and I started having dislocations again. I fell off a ladder and broke my left wrist and elbow, which all healed. When I was getting back to “normal”, I had another dislocation. Eventually, I found an amazing MD whom agreed to treat my condition. I cannot express enough to my MD, staff and hospital for the remarkable care I received. I never though I would be able do the things I loved again. I am able to spin, golf and once again enjoy life. I am forever grateful to Dr. McLawhorn and everyone at HSS.
