After a failed total hip replacement, I was left 2cm shorter on the operative side, with chronic back pain, nerve damage, and pain when I walked. I was an active 62 year old prior to my surgery and enjoyed a life of outdoor sports living in Seattle. I felt crippled and depressed. My recovery has been remarkable, I was able to walk onto a plane after 2 weeks! My leg strength and stability have returned, I walk with an even gait, and no more pain! I feel extremely lucky to have found my way to HSS and Dr. Rodriguez.
