Back in September 2008, I received bilateral hip replacements at another hospital. The right hip was done a week after the left and I always experienced pain on the right side after the operation. A friend of mine worked at HSS and recommended Dr. Michael Parks. Dr. Parks is very easy to talk to. What I found was that he’s concerned more about the quality of life his patients are experiencing. So when I couldn’t take the pain anymore I had the hip revision surgery. I was out of the hospital in a day or two. The recovery was quicker than the bilateral surgery. This happened before I retired in March of 2016. All is well with my hips and I have no pain at all.
