It took multiple failed surgeries and over 5 years of pain, but finding Dr. Sink and his team at HSS was a life changer for me. Going through surgery when you know there is light at the end of the tunnel makes it much easier. Dr. Sink spent a lot of time with me explaining the surgery and recovery and making me confident that I could live a life without hip pain. On March 26, 2014, I underwent my left periacetabular osteotomy. On April 8, 2015 I had the same procedure on the right side. 4 months after that I was hiking and rock climbing with my sister in Seattle. These surgeries gave me physical abilities I've never had before. I cannot be more grateful to Dr. Sink and his entire team for what they have given me!
