After trying every possible pain management method, the pain was just too great where I had to consult a surgeon for help. From the moment I spoke to Tina and Rebecca in Dr. Cunningham's office, I knew I was in good hands. Tina found a way to have me come in for a consultation the same day I called. Dr. Cunningham took the time to hear my story and offered thoughtful suggestions for how to alleviate the pain. After some further preliminary tests, it was determined that I should have a microdiscectomy. My surgery was a complete success - I woke up pain free and was able to go home the same day.

A year later, another disc herniated and I immediately contacted Dr. Cunningham for a remedy. Tina and Rebecca were again incredible by somehow fitting me in the day I called. This surgery wasn't an immediate success like the first one, however Dr. Cunningham never left my side and did everything he could to make it right. Dr. Cunningham, Tina, Rebecca and the entire HSS staff are the epitome of what professional healthcare should be like.
