Herniated Disc (Bulging Disc)

I had experienced lower back pain for almost two years. MRI revealed minor L1/SI disc herniation accompanied by arthritis. Had several spinal injections, which provided only temporary relief. Visited with Dr. Rock Positano at HSS, who surmised that my back pain could be related to foot pronation. Was tested and fitted for orthotic inserts. In a matter of weeks, and in conjunction with a regular stretching program, my back pain has virtually disappeared. Back to normal range of exercise, including running and cycling! Back in the Game!
