Vikki Wachtel

I work as an assistant in the music industry and I'm also a pianist and songwriter. After being incorrectly diagnosed with Lupus by another Rheumatologist in Queens, I called the head of Rheumatology at HSS for a recommendation. I was referred to Dr. Jessica Berman. Her expertise gave me a proper diagnosis of Rheumatoid Arthritis. I couldn't be happier in the few years that Dr. Berman's been treating me and monitoring my RA. I get a decent amount of time from my visits, proper doses of medication, and an open-minded, incredibly bright Doctor with an excellent bedside manner.

With retirement a few years away, and with the knowledge that I'll be continuing my piano playing and songwriting thereafter, I know I'm in the right hands with Dr. Berman! Anyone up for my giving them a piano lesson? :-D
