In August 2012, I fell down the stairs and broke my tibia and fibula. I was rushed to the emergency room, where the doctors wanted to immediately insert a rod through my knee, a surgery that includes a high risk of life long knee pain. Instead, both friends and family referred me to HSS and specifically Dr. David Levine, who offered me an alternative and innovative surgery with no such risk.

Today, I have fully returned to my active-self, running, doing yoga, hiking and even getting back on a snow board this past winter. I truly can't thank HSS, Dr. Levine and his team enough for not only their competence and professionalism but also for their continuous care and support.
