The HSS Sports Medicine Institute brings together the disciplines critical to care for the active individual, including surgeons, primary sports medicine physicians, radiologists, physical therapists, athletic trainers, clinical research staff and nurses. HSS physicians at this location serve as team physicians and doctors for some of NY’s best known teams. Last year our team treated thousands of patients and professional athletes from more than 80 teams worldwide. No other organization helps as many marathon runners, elite athletes and weekend warriors. Your fitness and activity goals are our goals.
The 66,000 square foot facility includes physician offices, exam rooms, diagnostic imaging, ambulatory surgery center, a sports rehabilitation and performance center, and a café. There is a fitness area including cardio, strength training and aerobic machines, as well as a hydrotherapy pool and recovery rooms.
This facility will add to our sports medicine patient care locations, which include the HSS main campus on Manhattan’s Upper East Side, Paramus, NJ, Westchester, NY, and Stamford, CT. In early 2020, we also added HSS Florida in West Palm Beach and a Hudson Yards location on Manhattan's West Side.
The HSS Sports Medicine Institute West Side location offers comprehensive care in an environment specially designed for both casual and professional athletes. Patients benefit from injury prevention and strength training; return to ‘play’ if there has been an injury, and most importantly a full range of medical care to get back to doing what they need and love to do.
Top HSS rehabilitation professionals provide physical therapy, hydrotherapy, and performance testing, including motion capture, golf simulation, and sports nutrition consultations. Learn more about HSS Sports Rehabilitation and Performance Services.
Our unique team and overall environment will ensure the best outcome and results for patients seeking wellness, fitness, performance, care, recovery and return to activity.
