Over the course of one month, participants gain exclusive access to multiple rehabilitation sites across New York City, offering a comprehensive and immersive learning opportunity. This program is ideal for individuals seeking to deepen their understanding of advanced rehabilitation practices in a dynamic, interdisciplinary environment. If you're interested in applying, please reach out to begin the onboarding process, which includes an application and medical clearance documentation.

The HSS Academic Visitors Program provided me with a great opportunity to gain a better understanding of physical therapy practice before starting PT school. During my time at HSS, I was able to visit multiple locations, including the West Side, Belaire, Main Campus, and Midtown, where I had the opportunity to observe and network with physical therapists, exercise physiologists, and occupational therapists. I was able to observe return-to-sport testing, hand splint molding and fabrication, patient evaluations and treatments, and exercise programming. I am extremely grateful for the opportunity and left the program even more excited to begin PT school and pursue a career in physical therapy.
