Hi! My name is Abby, and I am a patient with miserable malalignment. Before I met S. Robert Rozbruch, MD, I had grown accustomed to constant leg pain that severely affected my quality of life. Thanks to Dr. Rozbruch and his team at HSS, I now live pain-free.

In the summer of 2025, I had femoral and tibial osteotomies on both legs to correct the malalignment. The procedures involved placing rods and screws in my legs, and that hardware was removed this summer.

Less than two weeks after the hardware was removed, I traveled to France with my family and finally experienced the joy of pain-free movement.

Going through multiple surgeries and the recovery process was not easy, but it was completely worth it. I can now walk, travel and go about my everyday life without the constant leg pain I had grown so used to. I am incredibly grateful to Dr. Rozbruch and the entire HSS team for giving me that freedom.
