I am a trumpet-playing professional musician and conductor. For decades, my right shoulder was painful and getting worse. Eventually I could not hold my horn, which weighs 3 lbs, or even reach for a glass of water. Like many others, I had arrived at the tipping point of pain being unbearable and activities severely limited.

I met Dr. Taylor, who was highly recommended, and he diagnosed my joint with no cartilage and a rotator cuff beyond repair. However, I was eligible for a reverse total shoulder replacement. He even drew a diagram of the surgery including all the stages of healing. One year later, all my shoulder pain is gone. My mobility is restored for pain-free trumpet playing, swimming laps, bicycle riding, reaching third shelves in cabinets, and combing hair. I have done PT for one year now and have regained range of motion that was long gone. The surgery was successful!

Dr. Taylor's confidence allowed me to relax into the procedure and process. He related to me as a person. The whole staff was considerate, knowledgeable and helpful, especially Nick.
