Patient Story of: Kennesy Moore

A year ago, walking had become something I dreaded. The pain was constant, and even the simplest daily activities, getting around the city, standing for long periods, or moving through my day, had become difficult. I had reached a point where I could barely walk without pain and wondered how much of my old life I would ever get back.

Dr. Elizabeth Gausden gave me that life back.

Just one month after my hip replacement, I'm walking without a limp, gaining strength every day, and feeling like myself again. The transformation has been remarkable. I didn't realize how much pain had taken from me until it was finally gone.

I truly feel like I've been given a second chance to enjoy life. I'm incredibly grateful to Dr. Gausden and the entire HSS team for their expertise, compassion, and outstanding care. Thanks to them, I'm back on my feet and looking forward to all the things I love to do.
