I always had pain in both legs yet was told I’m too young for hip replacement surgery. As an active single mom of three teens that boxes and is an entrepreneur, I found myself at a loss until I almost could not walk WITH canes at the age of 48. Thankfully, I met an amazing PT that said I had to go see Dr. McLawhorn immediately. When I did, he wanted to get me into surgery straight away for my first THR. From the nurses to the OR team to the janitors to the PTs, the staff at HSS Orthopedics at Stamford Health were all incredible, efficient, caring and encouraging of my active life and recovery. I am currently on a business trip in California as I write this and am so incredibly grateful for the chances I’ve been given!
