My pain crept up on me so slowly until one day I realized I wasn't walking erect but hunched over and bent at the waist. Due to pain, I couldn't run my small business and had to hire someone. I thought my days of hiking, birdwatching and traveling in general were over. I went to a spine institute and received 2 bouts of painful injections, which did not help. My neighbor urged me to try HSS, and I'm glad I did! I was put through a series of exams to determine what I did not have, and finally it was discovered that I had a congenital deformation in my hip. A year after a hip replacement, I'm so active and busy I found it hard to find the time to write this! My business is flourishing, I'm traveling with my husband and back to doing the things I love to do. I have a spring in my step and feel 20 years younger.
