Dr. DiFelice is not just the VERY BEST knee doctor in the country, he is also a visionary, an innovator, a phenomenal surgeon and a great person! Three years ago, on Jan 15, 2017 I tore my ACL while skiing. I was devastated. I'd had other friends tear their ACLs and I knew how painful and difficult the recovery process could be. Fortunately, I called Dr. DiFelice. He told me about the surgery he was pioneering doing ACL repair instead of replacement. We scheduled the surgery quickly - and he even allowed me to watch my own surgery so I saw what a skilled surgeon he is firsthand as I watched him repair my knee. By Spring, I was running around the reservoir in Central Park and ready to ski again! I had almost no pain, was barely on crutches, and the amazing thing is that I have barely any scars and keep forgetting which knee he did the surgery on - it feels that good!
