My posterior THR was painless with minimal swelling. My recovery was remarkable. I went from walker to cane to cane-free with no limp in 2 weeks. At 5 1/2 weeks (after my first post-op visit) I am back to my exercise routine and hiking our Vermont trails. As a nurse and a patient I highly recommend Dr. McLawhorn.
