I should never have waited as long as I did to have my hip replaced. Over two years, I increasingly became more and more immobile due to hip pain. Being an avid hiker and mountain climber, it was very difficult to be diminished to doing only occasional short walks. Within a fairly short time, Dr. Seth Jerabek had me back on the hiking trails. Only one month out from having a total hip replacement on my right side, I did a 3 mile hike/climb with a 900 ft. ascent. From start to finish, my experience with HSS was the finest I could ever have imagined. I received the best possible care from Dr. Jerabek, Dr. Buchalter, recovery room staff, the skilled nurses and physical therapy personnel on the floor where I recuperated. I am very thankful to everyone at HSS.
