Emily Wiser

After a serious ACL and meniscus injury my freshman year of high school, I thought my soccer career maybe over. After a long recovery, I finally made it back to the game I love. My senior year I tore my meniscus again, and the damage was so bad that I it could not be repaired, and needed to be removed entirely. That's when my dad started looking a solution. I was determined to play college soccer and my dad was determined to find someone who could fix my knee. My experience with HSS was incredible and I am so grateful to Dr. Rodeo and all of the staff that helped in my surgery and recovery. Thanks to my right medial meniscus transplant, I am currently playing soccer at the University of Chicago and am continuing to improve every day.
