After 4 months of knee pain and attempts at alternate recovery options, I saw Dr DiFelice and scheduled surgery. First, I was pleasantly surprised how comfortably everyone at HSS made me feel. A high level of professionalism exists in every person you meet there. Next, the procedure went smooth, and I went home the same day with minimal discomfort. Within 1 week I was walking about the same as before surgery. In a little over 2 weeks, along PT sessions, I hiked 5 miles without any pain at all. By 4 weeks I was able to do anything I wanted pain free which included additional hiking, biking, scuba diving while on vacation, and riding my off road motorcycle. My only regret was not having the surgery sooner! A huge thank you to Dr DiFelice and the staff at HSS.
