I had two hip replacements with Dr. Cornell at HSS and he recommended me to Dr. Gulotta. I had such pain in my left shoulder that I couldn't lift dishes from the dishwasher to a shelf in my cabinet. Dr. Gulotta suggested I have a complete reversal shoulder replacement, which I had never heard of before. Immediately, after the surgery, I had no pain. I came home from the hospital after 3 days and the Physical Therapist couldn't believe that I had such flexible motion in my arm. It's been just one year and I'm going back to playing tennis because I can now throw the ball up with my left arm. It's truly a miracle and a quality of life I never thought I would have ever again.
