My wife and I were very impressed with the extensive amount of time Dr. Mayman and his team members spent in talking with us and answering all of our questions. I was able to walk and do stairs after my hip surgery. During my recovery, I felt completely supported by the orthopedic team, quickly responding by phone, email, texts and even communicating with a voluntary online survey on my weekly progress. 8 weeks after my surgery, my son, Mike and his friends, rode with me in the New York City Five Boro Bike Tour. Mike and I completed 30 miles, deciding instead to leave the tour route to have some pizza and ride through lower Manhattan to the ferry. I am good as new thanks to HSS and my NJ based after care provided by Bayada Home Care Services and Kessler Physical Therapy Rehabilitation Center in Wayne.
